Business card:
- Description: Business card and letterhead for business with new logo.
- Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I designed the logo in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. I decided to just use the name of the company as their logo. I just emphasized the “X” in both words in the title of the company. I really wanted to add a little bit of color but not too much because I liked the black font I used. I decided to use the color red because it really popped in the design of the logo. I also decided to use that “X” in a really light gray color in the background of the letterhead so that it could kind of resemble to company title. I liked the X so much that I used it for the business card instead to using the name of the company on the front and back so that way it could show a little more contrast in the design of the business card. I used quite a few text boxes to make the X appear to connect both words of the company name. I wanted “products” to be a little bit different so I changed that font style.
- Message: This company has to deal with building materials and they are high tech and heavy duty.
- Audience: Those who are in the building industry
- Top Thing Learned: I think I learned a lot about how to be more familiar with Illustrator and how it works.
